As you were flying from England to Germany I erroneously assumed you...

Re: So you're going to a band audition...

The audition should give the prospective drummer a good sense of what the band is all about.

Re: Do Youtube Drum Covers Influence What/How You Play?

Youtube drum covers inspire me to be less like this guy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QlODKWohPtk).

Re: Some advice needed re: accuracy of songs

There will always be things that you can't replicate, but you should always go into a song aiming to replicate what the original drummer did. Otherwise why bother...

Re: Relighting my fire

I make no great claims about my drumming skills.

But...about six weeks into my drumming journey I had my first jam with some mates. I'd (sort of) learnt to play Honky Tonk Women. Everything else...

Re: Is it safe to play songs that require a double kick pedal with just a single pedal?

Seems an awful waste.

I mean, surely, when one has wealth one sends one's manservant abroad to procure high class hookers, otherwise what's the point?

Very hard to tread the proles down when...

Re: I'm a lucky guy

Having had a number of relatively expensive pursuits over the years, there's a funny thing I've noticed.

If I only spend what I can afford, use the stuff that I buy and in turn, treat my wife as...

Re: Pearl Reference Pure drum porn ;)

No more photos have turned up, but this is the rhythm guitarist's take on how things went:

We played our first performance on Saturday night, as a warm up to the main band at a 60's-themed party...

Re: LDS - Superb drums & rhythm tap - video.

Loved the drum sound and the drum technique.

The tap dancing...not so much. To paraphrase Woody, "That's not dancing, that's falling over with style!"

It may be that tap...
