It was...

Re: Neil Peart's drum sound

I agree Sticks. It doesnt matter what drummer the thread is about, certain members seek an argument they would never start in real life.

Re: Crush drums vs. Drumcraft what's better?

I can only speak of Crush drums. I own a large 11 piece Crush Sublime Sereis Bubinga kit that I absolutely adore. These are Crush's highest level of drums and are totally professional with a...

Got a new band going with shows already booked, having fun playing music again after a really tragic 2011 in my life. The band is a prog/rock/alt mix along the lines of tool and...

Re: Who watched the Grammy's? Any thoughts?

They should have 2 seperate grammy awards shows.

Re: Craigslist......

Yeah I agree with this. In my current band we have auditioned at least 30-40 vocalists over the last couple years and only 3 turned out to be musicians imo. Sure we had some weird ones, drunks,...

Re: What kind of crazy things did you do to your kit as a kid?

Re: Could 2012 be a turn around for Ddrum?

The new stuff looks nice! I am glad to hear Ddrum is making changes. I have a 14" Hammered Iron Artisan Series snare drum that is the only Ddrum I have ever owned and it is simply awesome.

Re: Sonor Basswood kits Head Choice (507,1007,Safari,Bop)

Several years ago I had a Sonor Force 2007 kit in jazz sizes. I would go between Coated G1's or G2's depending on what sound I was after. The G2 IMO made the drums sound a bit fuller with less...
