When I was it it was the drumless, no click version of the tracks. I think thats the way it is for all of the Rockschool exams

Mine is probabably around belly button height, It's at such I height thats its comfortable to hit with the tip of the stick or to crash.

I use a pad live with my Metal band. Once with nothing in front of it, it looked pretty weird.


edit - Video with the kick drum turned sideways side the pad had room (it looks wrong haha)

Breakdowns are not the only variation in deathcore, and although I love them(when done right) they are used a crutch a lot of the times.

Animosity are a good deathcore band who can write songs.

Glen Benton is awesome, although doesn't enunciate at all. Which is good because Deicide lyrics are pretty bad.

Although I think Adler and Bittner are great drummers, I think Navene is FAR more inventive and doesn't get enough credit. Also Suffocation > CC :)

Although there are far more aggressive band in the UK than Slipknot, I haven't heard anything in the UK since Sikth who are pusing the boundries at all.

Where as the US has bands like Car Bomb,...
