Re: Anyone remember who did this solo?

A live album at the time that hasn't been mentioned yet, Bursting Out by Jethro Tull. Barrimore Barlow plays a great solo, just not latin influenced.

Re: Despondent with lesson

Glad your lesson went well. Just remember, if you put in the work during the week, your teacher will notice whether you nailed everything perfectly or not.

I live with others including a wife. I have neighbors. When I started playing after a long layoff 4 years ago, I knew that an e-kit would be best solution for me. I knew I wanted a top end Roland...

Re: Open Handed Jazz Drummers?

Another open handed player I haven't seem mentioned yet is Rayford Griffin. I saw him with Jean Luc Ponty a number of years ago. Great player.

Re: Bubinga (& other species) - a warning

When travelling, rather than having all the relevant document documentation, I hope we can say, "I bought them off a dude on Craigslist".

Re: rock guy learning country

I'm not a country style drummer, but the thought intrigues me. I've seen that Rich Redmond (Jason Aldean) has some transcription books available of some of the Jason Aldean records. I always though...

Re: Roland TD25KV

The GoPro allows for an external sound input using a 3.5 mm adaptor. Go out of your module into the GoPro. I got a refurbished GoPro from ebay to use with my Roland 20x. The GoPro looks brand new.
