Recording Equipment - a suitable desk for recording drums

I am just about to buy some mics for my drums prob Sm57, AKG d112, 2 X Akg c1000s. I am using these for my band practices which are regularly recorded. I also want to buy some sort of desk for recording my drums at home. Any suggestions?

I don't have a great deal of experience with recording to be honest. I realise there's prob going to be some sort of computer programme involved with this as well like cubase or something. Just looking for a chat to get some ideas brewing.

I was thinking something like this:

My main goal is to record myself drumming - record a demo of me playing african rhythms that i've applied to the kit.

Perhaps you should do a search here. We've all talked about this at one time or another and many of us have explained how we've been doing our recording.
