New Website - Please answer a quick question

I have just designed a new website. It seems to look good on my computers, but my wife's laptop is not displaying my full business name. Instead of Johnson Drum Instruction, it is only showing Johnson Drum In. I tried it on my computer on Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome. I want to link it to my domain, but I want to make sure it displays correctly.

Can you please take a look at the link and tell me if it displays properly. Don't worry about PM, just respond in this thread. I appreciate it.

I'm using a MacBook with Google Chrome and the whole title displays.

Fine with Windows XP Pro and Internet Explorer.

Looks fine here... Win 7 and Chrome.

The issue is likely that there's another table block or table cell "overlayed" on top of your top image there. In a few older or crappier browsers, you might get behavior such as you're describing if they cannot display a transparent cell.

Try moving the "search" function to the line above your title logo. That will probably fix it.

Looks good on Win 7 and Firefox. The search box is overlapping the top right of the logo.

Works fine on my laptop.

The search box overlays the banner with the title, but the writing itself is visible on my computer. No problems seeing everything. Win 7 and Firefox here, on my little netbook I tote around.

My wife's computer is getting the same chopped off display. But my computer (also windows) seem to look fine. Ugh.

My screen's at 1280 x 800 so if the browser is maximised then it's perfect.

However ... your banner is about 720 pixels wide. So if I reduce the size of my browser window to below 720 pixels, then it truncates. If a screen has a very low res then not all of the image will appear.

If the title was text then it would wrap, but it's an image.

Sure ... the banner is 732 pixels wide so it will easily fit into your 1366 pixels on screen.

I'm fairly sure the issue is screen size / res. Jeff, I'd be inclined to reduce the image size from 732 x 137 to 600 x 112. Still plenty big enough to make a splash

Another option is to set the max width attribute in CSS:
