Questions about Tampa metal scene
I am thinking about moving to Tampa Florida to start or form a Christian metal/heavy music band with musicians 18 and over next may. Can anyone tell me how the metal scene in Tampa is? Also, are there any christian metal/heavy music bands based out of Tampa (Underoath is the one that i know of and im a big fan of their music)?

And, are there any good musician rehearsal spaces in Tampa? And would you consider Tampa a nice place to live?

Re: Questions about Tampa metal scene
Hey Drummingman:

I am not sure how old you are and what you are looking for in a City. Tampa is a reasonably priced, clean and fairly low crime City. Property prices, like many places, are cheap right now. As far as the metal scene or the christian metal scene, I confess I really don't know. I know that Tampa has been the birth place to a lot of metal bands but frankly, there are just not that many gigs here unless you play covers and are willing to play at one of the many beach bars. Casey Grillo of Kamelot lives here and I will ask him what he knows.
