Favourite Beatles Song?

My all time favourite song from The Beatles is A Day In The Life. It's such an innovative song. All the instruments are at their best here.

Day Tripper get my vote. I like Twist and Shout but I think that's a cover, right?

Tomorrow Never Knows for me at the moment, but last week it was Glass Onion. My (4-year-old) son loves I Am The Walrus and my (2-year-old) daughter is going around the house singing Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da.

Sgt Peppers Lonley Hearts Club Band

The ripping guitar solo on the intro and the classic Ringo drum fill leading in to the verse. This is rock drumming 101.

That's just about covered my list but I'm with BeatlesFan on this - ADITL was amazing.

The End, Something, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Come Together are worthy of honourable mentions IMO

Also have a soft spot for some of the more psychedelic numbers on Sgt Pepper like Within Without You and Mr Kite.

I'm always amazed that song went to #1!

It's dark, very dark. You'd could almost say it was the 1st goth-rock song, it's so dang dark.

I Am The Walrus - lyrics and mood
Let It Be - everything's perfect
While My Guitar Gently Weeps - mood and the solo
The End - Ringo!
Eleanor Rigby - vocs and lyrics
Come Together - Ringo!
Something - melody and vocs
Penny Lane - lyrics and piccolo trumpet
Within Without You - I'm an old hippie at heart, love that sitar and tabla :)
Revolution - lyrics and it rocks
Mr Kite - the vibe and sounds
Rain - rhythm section and harmonies
Paperback Writer - harmonies and lyrics
Taxman - the riff
Happiness is a Warm Gun - the arrangement and John's satire

Drive my car is one of the funnest one's too play I love playing the HH & Snare with one hand and the cowbell with the other, that cures the "More Cowbell" people in the audience LOL.

another one off of Rubber Soul I like is "The Word" Ringo's playing is really cool on that one.

Not bad, sounds nothing like the Beatles I know though :D

From the comments on the video it seems to be an Elvis cover.

Yes, here's Elvis' version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjSGEA3N98g

I usually LOVE John Lennon's vocals, but Elvis' singing is better on this song. BUT, Ringo's drumming is way better than the original.
