Your thoughts on "Silversun Pickups"

I've just recently started listening to this band, and I'm loving them. I'm really liking the sound and sizes of the drums. Simple playing, but it's great.

i personally love them. those songs are good but you should pick up the Carnavas album i think thats my favorite one.

check out "well thought out twinkles" that 2 measure 16th note fill into the verse is so simple and perfect.

also "little lovers so polite" is good.

I like them. Haven't picked up a full album yet though.

i've been getting into them lately myself. i didn't know which album to get first so that's good advice.

i've also been exploring a similar band, the "yeah yeah yeahs" after reading an interview with their drummer brian chase in modern drummer magazine this month. that guy is the most erudite, scholarly drummer i've ever heard of! he could be a professor! his playing is very musical and well suited to his band, so check them out too.
