Designing a drum room or a studio?

Anyone here built or planning to build a drum room or home studio? I found a forum with a lot of info here... http://www.gearslutz.com/board/studi...ion-acoustics/

I've been designing one for years. I don't think i'll go for the full soundproofing treatment till i get my own place, though.

Hi, I am currently in the last phase of building myself a soundproof drum room. It's a room in a room in a cellar, and hopefully it wil become soundproof enough for my family for practise during evening hours. I plan to document the project, but for now there is some photos put out from the building process. Please visit the link below:

Get with Zambizzi. He and his father-in-law made a very pimp drum room/man cave in his garage. I've played in it and it is a work of art, a true room-within-a-room that allows him to play at 1 a.m. and disturb no one.
