But obviously I cant play the vibes.. But I can play the piano, and I am moderately good at it. Any suggestions will be appreciated. also suggest me some colleges for contemporary music..

Are you planning on staying in India for college?

If you're interested in going overseas, there's a whole heap of places you could audition for.

Is there a certain style of music you're interested in?

If you don't mind moving to Melbourne, Australia, I'd tell you to consider applying for Monash University. They have a great music program and I believe a decent international student program.

Tell them that you play keys. A lot of the time colleges just want to know that a drummer/percussionist has a knowledge of music outside of rhythm (that they can play an instrument with pitches/read music etc). They probably assume that most drummers take up vibes, but tell them you play keys and ask if it's OK to audition using them.
