It's Brian Eno. It's an album called Neroli, it should be available on iTunes.

It's a piece of ambient music that is 57 minutes, 56 seconds long and listening to it takes you to another place. It really is one of those pieces I can gleam over for weeks and never get an answer. It's actually used as a relaxation tool in various institutions and it's utterly stunning. Maybe not your cup of tea, but it's definitely worth trying and it might well open up new horizons.

For some real fun and variety, Blood Sweat and Tears.
Then go Google Tooble, if you have a Mac, and you can take anything from YouTube and put them on the iPod. Tooble is a free download.

The Windows download is being developed as we speak, write.

Boards of Canada
Plaid
Diplo
Lee "Scratch" Perry
Augustus Pablo
King Tubby

They would make nice additions to your sleep selection. Although some of the stuff by Plaid can be a bit Aphex Twin..crazy synths and evil basslines. But most of thier stuff is nice and relaxing.

Actually...here is one of the "twisted" ones. Nice mellow start but then it all goes a bit weird, just like the video!

Re: fill my iPod

How about some Sleepy Bright Eyez? It's on iTunes. :P

If I could save my Winamp playlist with just the artist names I would. Too many bands I like to type them all out. It says I have just over 200 hours of music, and that's only about 2/3 of my CD collection.

Most recently I picked up:

Clutch - From Beale Street To Oblivion
Norah Jones - Come Away With Me
Elliott Smith - New Moon
Jack Johnson - Curious George Soundtrack

My youngest son was just dancing to some Bad Religion, so you should probably pick up some of their stuff. Now a song by Karate is playing, and they are really great so check them out as well. I could recommend stuff all day. And if I ran out, I have plenty of friends who never seem to run out of new band for me to check out.

Mahavishnu Orchestra. Check out One Word, Birds Of Fire, Meeting Of The Spirits and The Dance Of The Maya.

Biffy Clyro

The Raconteurs (Jack Whites side project, very good blues/indie/rock)

I think some one else has said Battles but I second them, if you can get into it their music is amazing

Also check out some podcasts to fill some space with. Their free and if you find a good podcast its really something to look forward too. Check the iTunes store

Re: fill my iPod

Well I had a few more ideas,
sorry if they have already been stated, did my best to read through the posts.

The Cat Empire (really good band in my opinion)
The Damnwells
Jimmy Eat World
Mad Caddies
Slightly Stupid
Bouncing Souls
Lucky Boys Confusion
MXPX
Bowling For Soup
Yellowcard
American Hi-Fi
National Product
The Ataris
Motion City Soundtrack
The Toasters
Alkaline Trio
Halifax
Diffuser
Allister
Riverboat Gamblers
Amber Pacific
Brand New
All Time Low
Taking Back Sunday
Something Corporate
The Used
RX Bandits
Authority Zero
The Starting Line
Eve 6
Suburban Legends

Verve Pipe- freshmen is really good, never heard any other songs by them. But then again that goes with more than a few of the artists I just listed

As for Jack Johnson, I'm really getting sick of him. His music is good, but he is just played way to much were I live.
