Bernhard, can we become DrummerWorld endorsers?

Im getting a custom bass drum head made for me, and along with the Mapex Logo, I was wondering If I (and others) can display the drummerworld logo as a means of drawing more users.

I love the site, and Im always scribbling the URL on the back of peoples hands so they can visit.

I have been thinking about this for a while, and I like the idea...

Would anyone else "endorse" DrummerWorld?

Great idea! Even if we had small stickers for tagging or sticking on our bass drum.

Of course we could. And I also wanna become one...of course!
Some time ago (along with some play-alongs) Bernhard sent me the Drummerworld logo...big resolution.
You can go to a copy shop and print it on sticker paper.

Here it is: http://s62.photobucket.com/albums/h8...ummerworld.jpg

Re: Bernhard, can we become DrummerWorld ensorsers?

i think this is a really good idea, i would put a drummerworld sticker on my bass, and i would definatley make a drummerworld t-shirt, but i dont know how long that would last, maybe we could get some official shirts made, and have them shipped? 15$ sound good?

At Drummerlive 2007 Drummerworld should have a small stand!!

With t-shirts and stickers avaliable at a higher price, to cover the costs. I would buy one. Perhaps a t-shirt press with your Username on?

Re: Bernhard, can we become DrummerWorld ensorsers?

I would definitely put a sticker on my kick drum.

Bare in mind that the drummerworld logo is probably protected, so lets respect Bernhard enough to wait until he grants us permission to do it!

Where are ya Bernie?!

I'm just on the way to N.Y. with my family at the moment.....back in a week....

The Shop: Everybody asked me to make a shop. 500 people were willing to buy somthing.

When opened: beside myself and the moderators there were 5 boughts.....hmmm.

Now I have a shirt in the shop

and added now a sticker for $2.99 - just production price..

http://www.cafepress.com/drummerworld

Because of the printing process, the borders are too large and should be cut a little bit.
The quality is fine....

Hey Bernhard!
I`m going to get myself a sticker...or two (one for my home kit, one for my gig kit).
Just a question: How big is the sticker? What size?

And how much is shipping for such a "small" thing?

I think this is covered at the shop....they calculate the costs

but the sticker is 25cm x 8 cm - and then you have to cut 0.5 cm away

in US: 10" x 3"

This sounds like a great idea, I'm in. You should make drummerworld sticks for cool people like me.

The sticks itself would be no problem, the problem is how to finance it. Sticker or T-Shirts is easy, they are only made with an order. To finance some lanyards could also work without a greater risk (with about 200 pieces it starts with good prices...). But with sticks you have more financial effort, there you need a certain number of binding orders in advance. Or you need someone (a shop or manufacturer) who takes the risk for you or produces also small orders without much extra charge.

I say that because we did those things. "We" means drummerforum.de, the biggest german online community for drumming. It's a bit easier for us, our members are mostly in germany, but drummerworld members come from all over the world. We had some members who financed those action in advance, with their own money (private, no company or something else). Luckily all things worked, everbody got all their money back. But with the sticks all buyers had to pay in advance. You can imagine the costs of 500 pairs...

All I want to say: it's not easy for someone to set up those things for a worldwide community.

But I wish Bernhard all the best, and you know, I will help you if I can.

Thanks for your help Schneider. But to be true: I't not a financial question - it's a question of motivation. What's the need for Drummerworld-Drumsticks really?

After the VERY dissappointing attempt try and error and NO resonance, after everybody cried for these things....just a certain lack of motivation came up now - must not have.

I will create a nice shirt soon....and buy it then for myself - lol.

Ive been linking on my site too. The bass drum sticker has a lot of impact though, as drummers at gigs will see it.

Re: Bernhard, can we become DrummerWorld endorsers?

I think of myself as an unofficial DW endorser. I tell every drummer that I come by about it. I just remembered something a drummer in my school band said about it when I talked to him about it: "That website is so awesome!"
