MIDI Channel Setup Roland TD-6V/PD-8

I have (8) Roland PD-8 dual trigger pads(stereo cables) and a TD-6V Brain. Only using the brain for MIDI.

MIDI out from the TD-6V to the MIDI in on my Saffire 56

What I want to do is have each individual pad AND rim send out their own unique MIDI channel so I can load 16 channels with different samples in Battery. The TD-6V has 8 dual zone inserts. As of now the head and rim both send out the same MIDI channel. How do I do this?

Thanks!
