Rogers Holiday Late 60's
Well guys I really didn't need another kit. Anyway I traded in some A custom's I had laying around. So out the door was $900. Not bad I think seeing as they go for A LOT more on Ebay.

That kit looks beautiful. Nice find for a good price.

Per our few emails I was waiting to find the "right" kit for me. Anyway I think I did find a new deal. Jack is great to deal with! He already got me some wrap for my Luddies. We will see how the Luddies come out.

A couple shots setup:

The quality of the work on these drums is unreal. I can't believe how well done everything is:

Now here is the not so good:

I am not overly bothered by it. For safety sake I did check the drum shells and they were all fine. There are some products to fix laminate that might work or I had a low tech approach using some sealer wax in a pearl color. Would at least fill in the gaps and blend. For any gigs I might use this kit for no one would ever see these issues from a few feet away.

I was not aware of the blend of woods in these shells but wow they sound great!

If you stand too close to any masterpiece you will see the brush strokes.

I keep this kit setup in my other band's practice place. Sounds killer. I would honestly take it in the studio as it is.

The more I play this kit the more I like it. I was using my Benny Greb snare but I swapped it out for a Gretsch 4160 (Round badge era COB).

That's a cool kit and I know it sounds great.
