Danial Glass

Anyone know of the drummer, Danial Glass? I'm thinking of going to a clinic he is giving.

I feel like his clinics haven't changed in the past 3 years. Be prepared to hear the exact same sentences you have heard in his DVD and on YouTube.

If you havent heard or seen him at all go to it. He is a must see. However, he and Stanton seem to repeat themselves clinic to clinic.

Well, so do I. If the info is good, it's worth repeating!

Daniel's a great player, I followed him in an L.A. band and took great glee in duplicating his parts! He's also quite the historian, definitely a clinic worth catching even if just for some good Q&A.

I think he's great. His passion for and knowledge of history and the evolution is unmatched. Also a great musician and super nice guy. Go.

a must see. if you want some prep info on his career, (deep) drum history & concepts...check the idhitthat podcast. 1 on DG and then 1 w/ DG and Steve Smith on the new book, "roots of rock drumming": http://idhitthatpodcast.podomatic.com/

My advice, if you get a chance to see a professional up close, Go. You never know what he may show you, or answer a question from someone else. The best ones of course are free.
