Hello Folks,

I like a high drum seat (custom height with tractor-style seat), so not sure if I'm being reasonable here, but with the seat high enough that my heel can just barely rest on the bass drum pedal, the portable kit snare is just a little too low. Does anyone know if a rack extension/ coupler exists? All of the other pads adjust high enough, it's just that the snare is sitting alone, attached to a very short unextendable stump right in front of the seat.

Seat height is about 28.5 inches. Higher than most stock seats here in Japan will go.

Many Thanks,

Dave

Scaffolding pipe and joint, both cut. The parts are dirt cheap here, because they put up scaffolding BEFORE they start putting up the walls of houses, etc.

Nice solution. I saw the thread and was about to suggest buying a snare stand with a basket capable to holding your snare pad.
