DW8002 Pedal part
I have a DW8002 Pedal and randomly the slave pedal has been starting to give me problems. When i press it down, it feels like i have to press pretty hard for the beater to contact the head. I then decided to take the pedal and dissemble and found out that the rocker hub was damaged. There was a piece that was bent and making this problem happen. I looked at the schematics for my pedal and it says i need the DWSP049 part. For some reason, everywhere it says that this part is only for the dw 9000. Do 9000 parts happen to fit on the 8000? thanks!

Re: DW8002 Pedal part
It seems like in these days with so much information available on the www that we forget about just calling the manufacturer.

Phone DW up and ask them. They are very helpful.

Re: DW8002 Pedal part
Hey, Im kinda into DW pedals in a way, so yes you would need the rocker for the 9000 pedal...that was the 8000's thing(which didn't fly), that they were part 9000, part 5000...
This question also led me to another question which led me to believe that the 9000 rocker will also work on the 5000....
