What's Your Favorite Cereal?

As the title implies, what's your favorite cereal?

Oreo O's are my favorite. Not the kind with the marshmallow puffs, just regular Oreo O's. They were delicious. Sadly they were discontinued. I am ordering some online, because they are now only available in South Korea. They have the puffs, but that is a small price to pay for the most delicious cereal ever.

Corn Flakes for breakfast? That's disgusting, Neil!

Lucky Charms! They're magically delicious don't you know!

Cocoa Krispies if I had to pick one. But I like so many others. Cereal isn't a substantial enough breakfast for me though. It's more of a late night snack now.

I like rice krispies too. But to be honest, my favorite cereal ever (even though they're so damned pricey) is actually "life." There's just something about its low amount of sugar and grain that makes it not too sweet like fruity pebbles (which are disgusting...) and not too bland like cheerios. And once the cereal is gone, it leaves the milk slightly sweet like breast milk... yummy. Not too overly sugared like other child cereals will leave milk these days.

I've been eating Special K everyday lately. Special K and a banana are my breakfast. I'm trying to eat less and attempt to eat healthier. Haha.

I just ordered 2 boxes of Oreo O's from South Korea. Awwww yeah!

Weetabix.

There is no question. I stay away from the Bran Flakes these days.

Me too. But when I eat cereal in the morning that doesn't fill me up, I usually negate the healthy qualities by having a Big Mac for lunch or something. It's all about balance.

Actually, it is good to eat less, but the adage that you should eat big in the morning and eat less as the day goes on makes more sense. So we really should be eating cereal for dinner ;)

Everyone's pretending like they don't go straight for the Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries.

Shhhhh! That was the elephant in the room!

Even though we don't get them here in the UK...

I love Apple Jacks, but can't eat breakfast. Breakfast makes me sick. I naturally do the calorie restriction diet, not by choice, that's just what my body wants. I have never been a big eater, some days I don't hardly eat at all.

Sitting down now to honey bunches and oats with a cup of coffee on my rear deck and watch the deer sneak thru. However my fave is Fruity Pebbles

I don't eat cereal very often but when I do it's going to be Kashi Simply Maize.

Speaking of cereal, when I was a kid, there was a cereal called Waffle-O's or something like that. They probably had more sugar than any cereal should be allowed to have. Now that was some good stuff.

Fruity Pebbles are really good, but I could never get enough of those Oreo O's.

Waffle-Crisps? The little circular waffle looking cereal? Now those were good...

I love Honey Bunches and the Special K with the freeze dried strawberries in it. I also love to buy the cheap, generic fruity pebbles and mix it with rice crispies, cuts down on the sweetness.

Multi-Grain or Honey Hut Cherios.I could eat them every day,but fresh fruit ,pancakes, waffles,French toast and good old bacon/ham or sausage and eggs with home fries do get involved sometimes.

I know my southern brethern may (will) get highly offended with this, but you can keep grits. And yes, this Yankee has had them cooked the right way,

But that Smithfield ham. with biscuits and gravy.........oh yeah.

Wife # 2 was from Shrieveport Looooos- iana .

Because I don't drink cow's milk, I rarely, if ever, eat cereal, but when I do, it's Honey Nut Cheerios!

But what I really like is granola on a parfait. Yum!

I want to swim in a giant bowl of Cocoa Krispies with whole milk, so I could eat and swim at the same time.

Anything organic. Oatmeal. Sadly, most non-organic corn is genetically modified. That means no Cap'n Crunch :)

ps. Watso, gotta try that hemp cereal. Looks yummy.

I used to like Grape Nuts - a large bowl would really stick to your ribs (or else expand 3x in your stomach - I never knew which...).

Now I like 1 1/4 cups of steel cut oats with about 1/4 tsp of ginger powder and a handful of raisins.

I'm just a regular type of guy!

Grape-nuts, with just a scoche of brown sugar over the top.

Cinnamon Chex, because they are gluten free.

I never ate sugary cereals. I don't see why anything would ever think eating Captain Crunch or similar would be considered a good idea. But that's just me.

Muesli with soy milk. That sounds pretty healthy, yes?

I follow that with coffee, Celebrex, Endone and a cone. The last couple of weeks I've had back arthritis with a bulging disc and wake up desperate for relief. Not so healthy.

I imagine that if I had breakfasts of Coco Pops with cream, deep fried caged eggs and slabs of tortured pork I'd be in perfect health (and weigh 20 stone)

You can deep-fry eggs? How is that done? Just drop em in a deep fryer?

It really is tasty. Very slightly sweet granola. Doesn't taste like hemp or anything like that, and hemp oil is very good for the body.

Around here, they sell it at "Trader Joes". Not sure how many states have those, though. I did see one in Michigan.

Frosted Flakes, but like most of Kelloggs cereals, they have changed the recipe and they don't taste the same.

Oh yeah Frosted Flakes rock too. With banana.

Golden Grahams. I only buy them once a year because when I do I eat the whole box in one sitting.

The rest of the year it's Rice Crispies or Cherrios.

My favourite cereal of all-time though has been discontinued. It was Freakies. There was so much sugar in it kids would just explode after eating it.

Old school, it was the store brand puffed rice in the big plastic bag. Now it's Special K with the strawberries .

And for the real list...http://www.complex.com/city-guide/20...-all-time/trix
