can't beat it for the price!

Sorry for the crappy pic.
A friend just gave me this Worldmax snare. Last night,I put some Puresounds and an S-Hoop on it and took it to rehearsal. It sounds killer. It Is slightly more controlled than my brass Sensitone Elite and has a little less body./spread.

My only real issue is that my merciless rimshots cause the strainer to disengage. $20 or so should solve that problem.

Great drum for the price! I am so fond of my cheaper brass snares that I may never be able to talk myself into springing for a Black Beauty.

i also have a world max snare! (the engraved black brass one to be precise)
they do sound amazing, the price just makes them so much better.

Nice! The price was right too. Peace and goodwill.

World Max makes wonderful snares. I have a World Max Brinze that sounds superb! I want to add a World Max brass to the stable for cheap or one of the World Max Black Brass shells that have been sourced to other companies (Pork Pie, Ludwig, PDP etc.) for cheap. Definitely good bank for your buck,

A Black Dawg has been on my list for years. They make great snares.

I am still totally digging it. I need some Tight Screws, though.
