heythere guys!
so the tittle says it all
how is the connection of the cables with the reso head supposed to be?
should it be perfectly fitted, or should ONLY the cables touch the head?
thxxxx!

Mate, it's possible I'm an idiot.....let's face it, it wouldn't be the first time I've been branded as such. But I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.......if the "title says it all" then it has said it in Swahili and I'm in need of an interpreter. :)

Can you clarify?

I believe that he's talking about his snare drum and the way the snares are mounted to the shell. Or maybe how tight they should be, or something like that.

We need more details to help work out your problem.

If you are talking about the snare wires, or snares, they should be tight enough not to rattle but not so tight as to choke the snare side head. I play mine as loose as possible. Just tight enough that the adjustment screw is just beyond rattle. I think I said that twice. But like most things Drum, it's all personal preference.

The metal edges of the snares will touch the head.
It is important to adjust the snare so that the metal edges don't rest on the bearing edge of the drum.
Tension the snares as Grunt said. Set the amount of rattle that you like.

heyyy guys
it was really badly written
sorry for that
but anyways, you did indeed answered what I was looking towards to
thankyou!
