DW5000 alteration

Hey everybody- Ive got a dw 5002td3 that had a bad inner bearing. I replaced the bearing with a brand new one and noticed there's still some play in the inner mount of the pedal. Does anyone have a decent idea on what I could use as a shim? Id like to get rid of the play as much as possible. Thanks Jason

Depends how much play you've got.
If it's .020" or less, Permatex and Loctite, and probably others, make bearing mount compound for that purpose.
I think it's kind of permanent though.

Thanks for the response. Yeah I packed with lithium grease to try to sure it up a bit. Id rather not do anything permanent with these pedals as the adjust-ability is what makes these so great. Maybe just some wadded up paper would work...
