What do you think about the 65.99 gator cymbal bags? I've used it a few times because I needed to borrow a cymbal case to go to a gig. They felt really really nice and inside, it had major paddings! I was amazed but I was wondering if anyone else out there like this particular brand and model. I don't know exactly what kind of series or model this cymbal bag is, but if you go to guitarcenter.com or musiciansfriend.com, you can just look up cymbal gator bag. There's only one.

What i really loved about it is the pads, 22 inch wide, and it's worn like a messenger bag, not like a backpack. I think that's the best part about it. let me know!

I have had real good luck with the Impact cymbal bag. My first one lasted fifteen years!

I like the Protection Racket deluxe. Will fit 24" rides, plenty of room (my kid puts ride, two crashes, two chinas, hats, and 4 splashes in his), separate pocket for hats/splashes, fleecy liners. Superb quality. $80.

Get a trap case. It'll hold cymbals, a snare, and a bunch of other junk for the same price as a nice snare and a nice cymbal case.

OH this is great! i really like the suggestion of the protection racket! OTHER SUGGESTIONS? I WANT TO GET OTHER OPTIONS TOO!

I just got a new bag.
Previous one was a Modern Case Co. 24" cymbal bag. It's lasted about 8-9 years, and I think it was about $70.

It was a great bag, I just don't trust the bottom anymore, but it held a lot of cymbals. I can get at least 7 cymbals (some of them chinas) in, and the hats fit in the front.

The new one I got is the Protection Racket 24.

I've only used it once, and it seems like it WILL protect the cymbals, but if it was about .5 or 1" wider, it would be a lot easier to get my 24" ride cymbal in and out of it.

It was only $79, and it's constructed really well.

It's just a little stiff yet getting the 24 in and out. Once it's broken in, I'm sure it'll be easier.
It is comfortable to carry, and it has a nice shoulder strap.
