New Tom Head suggestions - Sonor S-Classix

Hey does anyone have any suggestions for new heads? I have an s-classix with coated Remo Ambassadors on the batters with clear Ambassadors on the reso's. I do have them tuned up properly and they sound good but I need Uber sustain! My current setup does have ok sustain but not quite long enough. I am looking for that dooooooooooooom! Right now it's just a dooom.

I have read the threads about thicker heads (single ply) would have more sustain and I am looking for a general consensus of the "dooooooooooooooom" sound loving people as to what you use. :)

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Im not too smart in the area of drum heads but you could try the Evans G1 Clears, they should have plenty of sustain.

I would recommend either the Evans G1 Clear or the G-Plus Clear. The G-Plus has a slightly shorter sustain but is more durable, has more projection and a more defined attack.

Use the same heads top and bottom, and tune both sides to the same pitch.
Clear single ply will sustain the longest.
Ambassador, G1 etc.
Tune to where the drum wants to be, and you'll get a long tone.

Coated single ply (t&b) will be a little more solid sounding.
