Roland TD-11 issue

Hey everyone!

I just purchased Roland's TD-11k and plugged it into superior drummer via USB.

I am having issues with the PD-8a rubber tom pads, which are supposed to be single trigger.

When hitting the rim of the PD-8a, I sometimes get a second trigger which is setting off a cymbal in Superior Drummer. This second trigger is inconsistent but there is one spot that seems to be reliable.

Anyone else have this issue? Why would the PD-8a be sending out multiple midi notes?

Thank you for your time.

PD-8 is dual trigger pad, AFAIK.
Check rim threshold in module and rim note in Superior.

Thank you for your reply. I know the PD-8 is dual trigger for sure but apparently the PD-8A is a pad that Roland made for lower end models ; it's not available seperatly and is single trigger. I will look into your recommendations.

sorry, didn't see "a" ...
it would help if you could do a video ...

I just realized it is also happening with the td-11 module sounds which leads me to believe that the pads vibration is traveling to the cymbal above it. I'm fairly certain this is the issue as the floor tom doesnt have this problem.
