Compatibility between brands

If I buy a Yamaha KU100 Beaterless Silent Kick Unit or any other beaterless kick pedal, can I use them on a Roland drum set (td4kp for example)?

As long as it has a piezo - it will work.

I've got one and it triggers well enough. It doesn't have the greatest feel, though. You might look at the new Roland beaterless kick which seems to have greater adjustment possibilities. Twice the price, too.

To be clear, I mean the Roland is 2x as much as Yamaha.
