Zildjian 400th Anniversary Snare - Photo’s and VIDEO!

I took delivery of build 101 of 400 the other day and from my knowledge it's the only in my country, it's a beast of a drum and weighs an absolute ton. I went to weight it buy right now even lifting is an issue due to my injury but I changed out the stock head and will give a really good smack down this weekend.

After some quick hits though it's sensitive, loud and has a warm yet dark tone.

Beautiful instrument of mass destruction you got there, Jarv. Looking forward to your video.

Less talking, more playing. - The Jarvis or is it IAMDRUMMER?

What snare stand is going to take this one

Awesome looking snare, congrats!

Nice looking snare?

What's the hole in the butt plate for? Also, the piece on top of the butt plate...is that just decorative?

That's a drum key! Nice detail.

But to be honest: I would not mind owning this snare but spending that kind of money I would rather get several other great snares.
Each to his own of course, if you have the money, buy something YOU are happy with - not what others think you should do.
