So I was following the music...

I was thinking up ways to improve my skills when I wasn't actually sitting behind the kit, and one way I thought up was purchasing some sheet music and listening to it and following along while playing on a pratice pad or with hands or feet. Now, Mike Portnoy has long been my greatest influence as a drummer, so I bought his Anthology Volume One. Metropolis Pt. 1, the Miracle and the Sleeper..... I was listening and attempting to tap along, and I thought I was doing an okay job following the changing 12/8, 9/8, 7/8, and 6/8 patterns somewhat smoothly until BAM!!! A bar of 19/16. I'm not really looking for advice or anything, I just thought I would share that.

So are you getting past the bar of 19/16? Or is it too weird?
I can get past it, but for a while it was frustrating as hell. I've only been playing a year, but I've been listening to progressive music forever so I'm familiar with odd times. Of course, it's easier to count them than play them.
