Wow! Great links everyone. Thanks for posting this. I worked on my swing yesterday for an hour or so. God awful, but I'm trying. I'm also a little too heavy handed on my bass and snare comping.

It sure is fun though.

Great links, all.

Have to admit bias towards Gene Krupa and the BG Orchestra, though.

Here's Sing Sing Sing with video footage:

Also love Drug Boogie with Gene going right off the deep end: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRjQzSwmEHw - the man could even swing with a box of matches :)
Those are great clips. I love the way he plays with the matches like they're drumsticks. How can you not love Gene Krupa? I have to add this one as well:

I have to promote my man Jimmy Smith, who owned the Hammond B3. this is what I was listening to in the late 60's when not listening to rock. Some of this is a blast to play along with. Kenny Burrell on guitar and Grady Tate on drums.

If you're a Jimmy Smith fan, I know you'll like this one. I don't know who's playing drums, but man, this band is smokin'!

Is it me, or just Keith Jarrett sound like Cartman from South Park when he's getting into it? :p

Anyways, nice clips. These are relevant to my interests.
