Keep It Simple...

Well, not too simple! Haha.

Andy, I thought you'd get a kick out of this as nobody really gets to see me play on the "spur of the moment" without it being fast metal. LoL.
I had a bass player friend (Todd Edmonds) come in town to do a un-related recording. Figured while he was around we'd squeeze a jam in.
Y'all may have seen other videos I've posted with him but, this one sounds pretty good. Just a few riffs and whatnot...nothing fancy, just rockin with a buddy.

Wow Derek, really enjoyable sounding stuff. Loved the grooving man. Your toms sound amazing. And the half time shuffle part sounded as Whois says, sweet as a sugar cookie lol. Who needs guitars lol! Really nice gems tucked in there too.

I also thought this was going to be about Andy.

Thanks for sharing that Derek, the groove was impeccable.
Some really awesome ideas in there, to be sure!

Cheers!

Simple?! Maybe for you!

That was fantastic playing, Derek. Your snare sounds amazing. And those floor toms...massive.

Yes, Andy here Derek - how could I resist a thread title in my honour ;) ;) ;)

How is my favourite not all about metal metal drummer these days?

Loved the jam Derek. Fun fun fun :) Everything a jam should be, with some tasty sprinkles on top. Wish I was there joining in.

Wow Andy, that's a brilliant find! Hahaha - so much fun to watch.
What a cool crossover. I love musicians to be open minded and try out unusual arrangements - just brilliant!

Haha...thanks guys,

Andy, I thought you would enjoy this.

Not a side of me that most get to see very often. haha.

Cheers,
D
