Canopus Drums

Thoughts on Canopus Drums, more specifically the Yaiba Bop Kit. It would be mainly used for jazz, latin, and light funk (heavier stuff would be done on my yamaha stage custom). This set is high up on my list of sets I'm considering. The other highest one is the DW Performance Series Bop Kit. And if your gonna tell me that set is not good for jazz, watch this link before you say anything:

Canopus are excellent drums, I had a Canopus snare and the build quality was second to none. Sounded excellent and very versatile, I actually regret selling but when I moved back to Blighty in 2010 some gear had to go due to shipping allowances.

Out of interest, if you're going to pay that kind of money, have you checked out Sakae? They make absolutely sublime kits.

Yeah I did check out Sakae. I wasn't as sold on them as I was on Canopus but I didn't look that hard. Any other suggestions?
