It's basically starting from where he's playing quarter notes on the open hi hat and doing insane stuff with the bass drum, then the hi hat gets subdivided faster over the bass hits .... some kind of polyrhtyhm?

Aside from his impeccable technique, most of the sounds weren't THAT impressive, but those few seconds, the sound of that was way trippier, imo anyway

I guess the whole "segment" if you will starts at 2:15. If you want an ill drum face, there's one there. It could go either way, but he could either be concnetrating really hard or just really into it

I don't think the hihat pattern is more complicated than a figure consisting of an 8th note followed by two 16th notes :s
