I was wondering, the drummer and the bassist form the backbone of any band since they control the beat and rhythm. Between the two though, who follows whom? Is the bassist playing in time with the drummer, or vice-versa?

I play righty with the matched grip, and the ring finger of my left hand keeps hurting not too far into my practice. This didn't use to happen. It hurts around my knuckle, and idea what might be wrong with my grip?

What have you guys heard about this cymbal, as I was thinking of getting it? Would it still work well live? Is it loud enough to cut over guitars? What do you guys think of it?
