View Full Version : Is there a way to attach a hoop without using lugs?

lugs seem like a real bother, can you attach the hoop any other way?

yes there are free floating methods, check out andy's (keep it simple's) kit here on the forums.

Yes you can. Technically these are not lugs. They are strut rods.

Don't forget the vintage drums where the bottom head was tacked on with a whole bunch of brass round head nails.
