Pearl forum/export color question

Hello all,
I am building a kit to be used in an acoustic to electronic conversion, and have a question about color. I am building a wine red Pearl Forum kit, but I keep finding the toms I want (10" and 12") in the Export series. My question is whether the wine red wrap used in the Forum series is the same as the Export series, or at least the color is the same/similar.


I do realize pearldrummersforum.com is probably the place to post this, but they keep deleting my registration before I am able to post for whatever reason. I've contacted the admins to no avail. So I am hoping some nice person here may have the answer I'm looking for.

I don't know for certain, but not being one to shy away from a wager. I'm willing to bet that they are, but even if they are different it'll only be slight and no-one could tell from further than a foot away anyhow.

If it were me and it was all I could find, I'd deal.

All the "wine" colors ive seen from pearl are very close, and if not, it wont be enough difference to tell.
