Hi All!
What would you guys recommend me to look at if I'm interested in good value for money, mid level hardware?
I'm not touring, I'm just playing for fun. But I like good quality feel, and I do not need the best.
Which brand, which series?
Thanks for any input.

I play all Yamaha hardware. The single braced 600 and 700 series does everything I need it to do.

Really no company will steer you wrong. The differences in construction at similar price points will be negligible. I use Yamaha and Gibraltar, their midrange items are great and will last you years. Other good midrange alternatives include Tama, PDP, Mapex, and Sonor.
If you have an opportunity, visit a music store and take a moment to look at hardware. It might change your mind about some hardware. I recently went down to my local drum store and looked at Pearl's snare stands (900 and 1000 series) - and then and there decided to cross them off my list because the wingscrew on both their stands wouldn't tighten enough to keep the snare basket from swiveling around.

I use Pearl 900 series on both of my kits. I absolutely love the BC-900 straight/boom stands, and have had no issues with the snare stands.
