Hi, I have heard and read some very good stuff on this site, loving your work... Anyhows, I have just come back into playing after a 12yr absence... I'm now 29 yrs young! I left music to follow a successful television career. I have been playing since I was small... My Dad was a drummer, I kinda followed suit... But the advent of my daughter being born spurred me on to start up the drums again. And dispite being 8months old, she loves them... Often holding her ears when I play (real quietly). Its a different story when some short sticks are in her hands, she can often be found hitting the bass drum batter... But seriously, she has already displayed a great disposition to music, and keeps a very good timing by way of clapping her hands.... Mainly to "paticake". Anyhows I didn't wanna add to any of the threads so I have tried to combine all three, photos and really rough recordings... These were done last year as an experiment to find what works for a band I'm working with right now... when some new recordings have been erm well recorded I'll post em!!! I have pulled the drumming back a bit somewhat and have a cleaner more refined sound!

Welcome! Your songs are great! Aside from a "tinny" recording, the music is rockin! Vocals are awesome...sort of like Gwen Stephani. The second recording had a fuller sound. I'm looking foward to some more recordings!
Good solid drumming...hard to hear the kick but that's just a mixing thing. Congrats on your daughter ...nice to let the drummer part of you out again too! Your drumming is well suited for the songs...not overplayed...just solid beats. Hi-hats, ride and snare sound good!

Thank you both... I was a lot more solid back in the day!!! Don't we all say that??? It was recorded using a Roland TD3KV Vdrums kit! Can't u tell?, if u listen more closely u can hear the cymbal triggers choking themselves, I agree with the kick drum... Like I said the drums have been more refined to give it a much more cleaner sound... But keep them comments coming bad or good... And WetherKing thanks for the warm welcome... New Hampshire... dunno about that... I'm from Old Hampshire :)

Bet Im newer than u, I have also just recently got back on the kit after a 3 yrs on the road driving truck. Son was born, and is loving the drums at the age of 5 and nothing has ever been better now that Ive been sharing my drums with him and relearning and exploring. I have been playing everyday for two hrs for the past five months. Play play play my friend. and all will be good! EH! (Canadian friend).cheers!

I'll bet Dude, I just hope the little one takes after her dad... either following me into television or into music... Keep on playing thats the one bro!!! :o)
This thread hasn't seen any action for almost a year. So.......it's time to resurrect it. Those "crown" logo's on the toms suggests that the kit is the newest top-line Remo's called Gold Crown and are not likely to be MasterTouch, MasterEdges or any other of Remo's older lines, as far as I can tell. Looks stunning.

Hey thanks for the info on this Ruok, I have since sold this kit to a young lad who fell in love with them, oh and the extra 300 quid more than what I paid for them lol.
