Indeed. Pretty crazy stuff. Some of the feats people are capable of.....two brains? Three?
Speaking of "feat" he has some nice footwork.

I paid alot to get his CD shipped from Australia after I stared in awe at his drumming for like three hours.....His kit is probably only rivaled by Terry Bozzio's.

His website has a bunch of video clips as some of you already know. "Three Camps" is the footwork I am referring to (doubles with accents).

i am seeing grant on september 9th i seriously can't wait :D his drumming is amazing, bring it on!!!!!!!!!! :D
I saw him a few years ago with the rest of the drummers from my school, he signed my sticks and later sent me a free copy of his album, real nice guy, and SO talented, his limbs are to independant, if you havent seen him play watch his videos NOW
Wow Grant doesnt get nearly enough attention, im seeing him on November 16th at the Brisbane PowerHouse, ill take some photos of his massive kit.
Ha i think i went and saw him at the powerhouse on that date as well.
He is definately one of my favourite drummers, the things he can do is just bind blowing.
Also love his footwork, that snare piece on the bass drum was so awsome.
If you havn't seen any of his videos, i seriously consider checking it out, you'll see.

why doesn't this thread have 10,000 replies by now?
I'm resurrecting this thread!!! Grant is by far my favorite drummer. He's been pushing the melodic drumming concept further than anyone else in recent years and is one of the few with true 4 limb independence. If you haven't heard his stuff, you absolutely must! It's out of this world.
Props to you Grant for inspiring so many drummers (like myself) to follow ostinato based drumming.
