Bass drum problem

Hey drummers, I got another weakness that needs improvement. if am playing like 8th notes on the hi-hat and I do a quick double stoke on my bass drum my hi- hat hands goes off beat, or to better explain it my hi-hat just follows my foot when i do a double stroke on the bass drum. I there a exercise where I can play my bass drum independently.

I think your excercise is already there. Just slow down what you're already doing and keep trying to nail it.
