Heads for Pearl Masters Premium?

Hey guys,
May be getting my hands on a new masters premium and just wondering about the heads. Im after a nice round sound in my toms - i play a lot of big band/fusion/latin. Would Clear G2's over clear G1's be a good choice? Any other suggestions?

What version of the Masters Premiums are you looking at? If it's a new kit and has the original Remo heads, I would just try them out before making other decisions. I do play Evans G2 clears over G1 clears on most of my kits and they work for most genres. I use G2 coated over G1 clears on my vintage Pearl kit with great results.
