Emad vs Emad II

I just put my foot through an Emad II I've been playing on for some time. So I ordered a new head and without thinking ordered an Emad. The Emad is a single ply head vs the two ply Emad II. So... DID I BLOW IT? I've never used the Emad single ply and am having second thoughts. Any opinions out there?

Just get a patch like the kickpad from Aquarian and it'll hold up fine.

Slightly more open sound. With a correctly tuned reso, you may just like it!

Single ply EMAD heads sound great. I just hope your plastic ring holds up.
