Painted Drum Head...Picture and QUESTIONS!

hello all...

i'm not actually a drummer. a drummer friend of mine had me paint on one of his bass drum heads. i just wanted to share it on here, and see what kinds of feedback i could get. I'd never painted on one of these things, and am not sure about the RIGHT kind of paint to be using. i used acrylics, and clearcoated it with acrylic.

I think that looks cool. Acrylics should be fine since it needs to have a little bit of give. Also given the size of the port hole it would move a lot.

Nice Job. I've used acrylic on all the heads I've painted, and it works very well and the color lasts a long time.
I'd post pics, but with the "family nature" of the forum, I'd probably get banned.... :-/
