new bass head

well i ordered a new resonant head for my bass. 22'' ludwig rocker kit. I opted for the Aquarian Force II in ebony. My previous head has a huge hole in it, so i'm hoping this will give me some more boom!


The batter is a EQ3, so being on a budget i decided to keep it until i get some cash or it pops.

Anyway, i can't wait til it comes in, and my cousin helps me tune that beast =)

You've played a non-ported kick, right? There's not just extra boom, there's a ton of added rebound.

no not really. This is my first kit, i've only had it for around a month. so i'm kinda excited to get it.

I got my new bass head yesterday, and slapped it on. It sounds awesome now! couldn't be happier =)

i got an eq3 for christmas. my bass sounds wayyy punchier now

my kit already had the EQ3, i replaced my reso cuz it had a huge cut out in it w/ the Aquarian. sounds like a big sub woofer now =)
