One of my old bass players who I used to play with for several years, but he moved away to nyc came back for thanksgiving. We did a gig last night, only did two rehearsals one one monday and one on the day of the gig. We had an awesome show last night, people went nuts, and the audience was genuinely sad that we aren't playing together anymore.
I got the best compliment after the show, one of my old musicians friends who has literally been around since I started playing said "that drummer's cold". one of the coolest compliments I've ever had. COLD!
Sadly i forgot to run my digital recorder, but one guy was taping some stuff for youtube on his camera so hopefully it came out okay.
