I have big feet too. I think it is neither easy or hard to accomplish this on any size pedal. While I do own the longboards, I think understanding the motion and enconomy of heel/toe technique is the key, not the board length. I find that I can play it just as easy on a cheap PDP pedal as a I can on the Axis. I got the longboards just so half of my foot doesn't hang of the back of the pedal!

Just the motion of the heel coming down (the heel not necassarily hitting the pedal) is enough for the heel-toe technique.
