tragic death, really unbelievable. I saw him play many times with maserati and turing machine, he absolutely blew me away every time.

Never realized i knew maserati. Its sad that I'm just now being exposed to this guy. He did some incredible stuff. No matter who it is, that is a terribly tragic way to go. May his expression in music live on.

Hey Crew,
Very sad news, indeed.
May the Good Lord bless his soul into heaven, and comfort his family, friends, and band members.
Must be one heck of a band waiting for us all in that "great gig in the sky".
R.I.P. Gerhardt. Thanks for the impression you left on all of us.
Cheers,
C. P.

a great talent indeed.
I saw them on October with Mono.
Some of the finest drumming i've seen live.
It's so sad to know a talent like Jerry would leave us so early.
Maye he RIP.

i have to say that this guy was one of my favourite drummers especially because he was so simple but so effective. i just love this drum fill and im glad i saw !!! & LCD Soundsystem which were bands in which played too. so sad, he seemed very nice.

you said it man. I wanted to quit after I saw him play with turing machine. I thought better and instead followed them to the next gig the next day to see him play again. Truly inspirational.
