Anyone played one yet?

$399 for a COB Sonor Signature snare sounds pretty good to me.

I thought 'ol Phil "Thudd" used to use an 8 X 14 wood snare back in the day.

Either way, this snare should sound great, and I'm surprised the price is as low as it is. Any Sonor high end snare is usually well over 700$.

I believe the price is lower because the snare is made and/or assembled in China. Either way, that's a GREAT price for a Sonor COB snare.

We got one at my shop and even with the crappy uk remo heads it sounds really good. Pretty fat sound with a nice crack off the rim. It has a good tuning range and as its been said on here before its a great snare especially for the price. I'm thinking of grabbing one myself and putting on some real heads and it could easily be my gigging snare!

God Bless,
