Jazz Drum Help

I have been wanting to play jazz for a while. But unfortunately its hard to find a Jazz band where I live. But thats ok(for now). because I would like to work on it (jazz drums) for self practice(FOR NOOOOOOOW!!!!!). And plus my Thrash/Progressive/(Random Genres)/Punk/Comedy band and I are starting to become HEAVILY influenced by Jazz.

So any tips/things is should learn/whatever stuff ?

Buy "The Art of Bop Drumming" and "Beyond Bop Drumming" by John Riley, as same as "Advanced Technique for the Modern Drummers" by Jim Chapin. You'll develop a lot of your jazz drumming and listening in these books.
