Kick Drum

Does anyone know of any sets that come with like a 22x20 kick drum other than Tama Hyperdrive. Sorry if there is already a thread about this its 12:15AM and I'm too tired to look it up right now.

Err... ddrum Dominion AMX. Gretsch Renown (search eBay for them). Ludwig Centennials. Ludig Epic Funk. Sonor has new kits that have 22x20 bass drums. Mapex Saturns.

That's all I remember off the top of my head.

At the local Banjo Hut they have this Orange County Percussion kit with a 22x20 kick that is the hugest sounding thing I've ever heard. Sounds like something you'd hear on a record with trick mics and processing, just sitting there in the store. Rest of the drums are okay as well, but that kick is a monster.

just bought some saturns.

Did order the 22x20, but then opted for the 22x18, due to transporting it around, did not have enough room the bass that i would of liked. but am pleased with the 22x18.

Oh, Tama Starclassic B/Bs also have some configurations with a 22x20 bass drum. Some 22x18 sound as big as those longer drums, though, due to bearing edge angles and wood makeup. Like a walnut or bubinga bass drum would easily sound bigger than its size.
