OK, If you change all of those drums, You are essentially buying a new kit!
If you want to play Jazz, you will want a small bass drum (18 or 20 inch dia), 8x12 rack tom, a 14 x14 floor tom, and a wood snare 13 or 14 inch by 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 inches deep. A metal snare will work just as well. You can choose the wood type for the drums. Maple, Birch, or Mahogany will do.
The brand of the drums is up to you also. Drum head choices are also important. Most Jazz play is done with coated single ply batter heads. There are exceptions!
Cymbals are the most important thing for Jazz play.
Cymbal choices will require much more thought. There are many threads on this subject.
Get your glasses out and start in the gear section under cymbals. Enjoy!
What are the stats on your Mapex?
